While GDI has more heavily armored vehicles, Nod has units that can be invisible. The objective is to destroy the enemy's base before they destroy yours. Once a building is destroyed it cannot be repaired, however damaged buidings can be repaired. If the power plant is destroyed, everything costs double and base defenses go offline. Some maps even have base defenses, it all depends on the map being played. Each base consists of an infantry structure, vehicle structure, a refinery, and a power plant. If you didn't play C&C Renegade, its a game where there are two factions, Nod and GDI, each controlling a base on a map.
If you've played C&C Renegade, this game plays very similar with the same objective, destroy the enemy's buildings. You will fight for either Nod or GDI and choose over 30 weapons, 15 vehicles, call in nuclear strikes, ion cannons, or airstrikes.
